At the 52nd Annual Conference on Acoustics in Dresden from 23–26 March 2026, our colleague and acoustics expert Andreas Hegendörfer presented the talk “Quieter trains through fast and precise acoustic simulations”. Mr Hegendörfer demonstrated how our “LogoSound” software models acoustic behaviour for both interior and exterior sound. A comparison with experimental measurement data impressively demonstrates the high accuracy of “LogoSound”. With “LogoSound”, acoustic weak points can be identified at an early stage and targeted measures taken to optimise acoustic properties. “LogoSound” thus makes a decisive contribution to quieter trains right from the early development phase. “LogoSound” is a key component in development, not only for optimising acoustic properties but also for reducing costs through early fault prevention. We are delighted to be able to contribute to comfortable rail travel through the use of innovative tools and processes in vehicle development!
