History

2000: Founding of LogoMotive

Founding of LogoMotive with CAE specialists of the former ADtranz in Nuremberg with at first twelve employees. Productive start in Nuremberg in the Dr.-Carlo-Schmidt- Strasse with the department's acoustics, dynamics, structural mechanics and testing in the month of September

2001: Testing Body

Approval as testing body for railway typical tests on rail vehicles and components and parts of rail vehicles granted by the German rail authority "Eisenbahn-Bundesamt" located in the city of Bonn (testing in the areas of dynamics and structural mechanics).

2002: Adding the Department of Design Engineering

Set up of the department design engineering to extend our scope of services to even better serve the needs of our customers; kick off with additional six employees

2003: 20 Employees reached

The continuously increasing demand of our customers for our scope of expertise makes us fortunate to consistently grow. This is why we could introduce our 20th colleague this year.

2006: Extended Testing Body

Extension and broadening of the approval as testing body for railway typical tests on rail vehicles and components and parts of rail vehicles granted by the German rail authority "Eisenbahn-Bundesamt" located in the city of Bonn (testing in the areas of dynamics, structural mechanics and acoustics).

2009: 30 Employees reached

The success story of LM continues, the growth is steady, the 30th employee is added to the team

2012: Accreditation as Testing Body

LM is granted the accreditation by the German accreditation body as testing body according to the standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for the testing of rail vehicles (strength, vehicle envelope, driving technique, acoustics)

2013: Moving into new Premises

The old office did not leave room for additional capacities; the further buildup of the team requires to move to the new location "Am Tullnaupark 4". Here sufficient space is available to be able to expand further.

2014: Change in the Management Board

Effective as of April 1st, 2014, Dr. Ulrich Hachmann resigned from his function as managing partner.
As his successor, we have appointed Mr. Andreas Strasser. Dr. Ulrich Hachmann as CTO focuses now on LogoMotive's areas of engineering and sales as well as certifications / acceptance according to BOStrab. He looks forward to cooperate closely with LogoMotive's management board and together support our business partners with counseling and practical advice.
